Hello, my name is Diana. I am glad to be part of Yoga Homebase’s family and I will be sharing my practice with you in English language.
Yoga has provided me through the last 20 years of practice with the physical and emotional anchors to start each day mindfully with zest and vigor creating a positive daily routine and allowing space for creativity.
To me yoga is not just asanas and breathing exercises. It is a journey through which I meet my true self, and through which I get to know my approach to life in its weak and strong moments, determinations and frustrations. I believe my yoga practice as well as everyone´s mirrors our approach to life.
Through yoga, I invite my students to reflect on the way they handle their life. I parallel aspects of the practice with situations and themes we all experience. I aim through Yoga to increase flexibility in body and mind and to be always present in the moment with the breath.
In addition to the many yoga retreats I have attended in India, Switzerland and Germany, I have done several yoga teacher trainings. So far, I have completed training in teaching Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga & Holistic Healing, Yin Yoga and Guided Meditation. I am lucky that two of my trainings were with well-known yogis: the famous Meghan Currie from Canada and Yogi Sivadas from Kailash, India.
At Yoga Homebase, I will offer Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha/Restorative Yoga, Yin & Yin-Yang Yoga and guided meditation. The Gong will accompany some of the mediation classes.
